Happy New Year!
I hope to be back to deal hunting very soon. I still don't have my computer back. We are also finishing up yet another remodeling project which means my husband doesn't have time to watch the kids while I blog! I hope to have the project done and the computer back very soon.
Thanks for all of your support this year!

EZ Sox Review and Giveaway: You and your kids will love these!
I was so excited to review these training socks. Sissy is great at putting her shoes on, although they may not be on the right feet, but she can't do socks. I was hopeful that EZ Sox, with their pull-up loops, would make it easier for her to do.
As soon as they came, I gave them to her to try. She refused to use them. She told me I bought her boy socks (they were tan). I was so disappointed that she wouldn't try them. Over the next couple of weeks I would break them out with no luck. I was just about to give up and order them in pink, when my husband decided to try. Wouldn't you know it, daddy's girl immediately put them on, with no help at all. She just grabbed the loops and pulled them right on. She loved them. For 3 days straight, she wore her "bear socks", putting them on by herself each time. (She would still be wearing them if I hadn't hidden them in the hamper.) She does still struggle a little with getting them facing the right direction, but the animal faces on the socks help with that. We just told her that the bear's face needs to be on top.
I really think that after she uses these a few more times, she will be able to figure out her regular socks. However, I know she'll still struggle with regular socks compared to these. They really are EZ!
If you have a little one that is trying to learn to put their socks on, look into EZ Sox. They have 9 different animals, as well as solid colors. There is something that will make every little one happy, even picky ones like mine! Like them on Facebook or follow them on Twitter for special deals.

Alex Little Hands: My Sticker Art Review
Ebeanstalk recommends the My Sticker Art set for 24 months. I reviewed this product with my 2 year old. She couldn't have been more thrilled to help mommy with a review! The product arrived at my house just before we were leaving for dinner. Perfect timing! Grandma had come over to watch the kids, so I left the product with Grandma. When I returned home, I had 4 masterpieces framed and waiting for me! Sissy couldn't wait to show me what she had done.
Apparently, Sissy had been busy with the My Sticker Art set a good part of the night. The set comes with 4 different pictures, 4 frames and stickers to match each picture. There was a pizza, a city, a garden and cookies. She loved decorating all of them, but for some reason she really liked the pizza. It had everything you could imagine on it by the time she was done! There were some stickers left when I got home so, of course, she had to decorate some more.
This was a really fun project for us. I am often hesitant to do art projects with little ones because it creates such a mess. This project is nearly mess free. I say nearly, because I did find a few stickers here and there for a few days, but the stickers are repositionable so they weren't terribly stuck to anything. We hung the art projects up, and a week later, she is still admiring her work. What a great way to spend quality time with a 2 year old.
You can order the My Sticker Art set from Ebeanstalk.com. If you are still looking for Christmas gifts, baby gifts or learning toys, I think you would be pleased with the quality products available at Ebeanstalk.com.
Disclosure - Ebeanstalk provided us with My Sticker Art free of charge. No other compensation was received.

IntelliCeuticals Elasti-Oil & Conceive Ease Review and IntelliCeuticals Nature's Nipple Prep & Peace of Mind Flower Essence Giveaway. Plus 25% Off!
IntelliCeuticals offers holistic products to assist in trying to conceive. Once baby is on the way, their natural remedies will assist in preparing for delivery day and nursing.
Once baby is here, use IntelliCeuticals natural aids to help you relax and welcome baby. There are products to help with breastfeeding pain and milk flow. There is even a natural remedy for cradle cap. You can feel good knowing IntelliCeuticals products are safe for nursing mothers.
I have delivered 4 babies and each one of them seemed to give me more new stretch marks. I have been using the IntelliCeuticals Elasti-Oil for a few weeks now, in an effort to reduce them. The first thing I noticed was the aromatherapy oils in the Elasti-Oil. The aromatherapy calmed me, an unexpected benefit. Next, it wasn't greasy. Some massage oils leave you feeling really greasy. I hate that feeling. Plus, I have really sensitive skin and the greasy oils make me itch. Elasti-Oil is not greasy and it did not irritate my sensitive skin at all. I used this product on my stomach a couple of times a day and I was pleasantly surprised to find it was keeping my skin more moist.
Elasti-Oil is recommended during pregnancy. It is better to try and prevent stretch marks, rather than play catch up like me. Keeping your skin moist is a big part of prevention. I suffer from extremely dry skin, so this was difficult for me. I did not have the Elasti-Oil while I was pregnant, but I wish that I did! I will have Elasti-Oil on board next time around.
I also did a mini-review of the IntelliCeuticals Conceive-Ease. I am not currently trying to conceive so I thought it best to hold on to this product until I am. I have struggled to conceive in the past, so I look forward to having Conceive-Ease on board next time. I did try it out a few times though. You place a drop under your tongue 4-7 times a day. It helps to calm you in order for your body to function in the way that it should. The product is a blend of flower and gem essences. Since you are only using one drop at a time, you don't taste much. I look forward to using this on a regular basis in the future.
I love that IntelliCeuticals products are not tested on animals, contain no animal products, glutens, artificial colors, preservatives or flavors and are suitable for lacto-vegetarians.
IntelliCeuticals is offering a substantial discount of 25% to Deal Friends readers. If you would like to try their products, and you really should, use code IC025 for the discount. Please visit the IntelliCeuticals page for more detailed information on the products.

Baby Bond Nursing Cover Review and 75% Discount
When I heard about the Baby Bond nursing cover I pretty much begged to try one out! Lucky for me, they let me. Baby Bond covers are a soft sash that come in 3 styles and a variety of neutral colors (nothing to call out extra attention to what you are doing. The sash covers you, but not your baby. It works like a nursing top. You separate the layers of the sash to create an opening for baby to nurse.
The Original and the Flex look the same. They are a closed sash with a terry burp cloth included. The only difference I could see was that the flex had a detachable burp cloth and the original was sewn on. I chose the Couture style in chocolate. The versatility of this style appealed to me. The Baby Bond Couture is a sash that can be worn around your waist to cover you if you need to lift your shirt to nurse or it can be worn as a traditional sash if you can nurse from the top of your shirt. I have used the Baby Bond to nurse my little man on a number of occasions where we have had visitors at our home. However, I have not used it out in public YET. I am having a little difficulty keeping it closed. This isn't a huge problem but I feel like it may fall open and expose something. The video on the Baby Bond site shows that you drop one end of the sash through an opening on the other end and it keeps the ends together. That part isn't working for me when I am using it as a sash. It works great when I am using it around my waist though. I don't think I would have any trouble with the other two styles, but then I couldn't use it as a belly band. I guess I should note that I have a number of wraps and carriers that I have never really been able to figure out. For most of you, I'm sure the Couture will work wonderfully but if you seem to have issues like me, you may want to get the Original or Flex!
My personal struggles at working with the sash aside, I am really happy with this product and I recommend it for yourself or as a nice baby shower gift. My little guy completely prefers the Baby Bond. Daddy and Sissy prefer to be able to see the little guy too. You really do notice a difference when you are able to keep eye contact and communicate. I find my little guy nurses much longer when he isn't hidden away under a cover. Now, when I have company over, I have totally ditched my old nursing covers for the Baby Bond. Once I figure out how to keep the ends of my sash together, I feel pretty certain we will switch to using the Baby Bond out and about as well. It rolls up so compactly that I have already been taking it with me every time. I'm just waiting for the right situation to make the switch.

Brugo Mug Review and Giveaway: An Excellent Holiday Gift
I am not really a coffee drinker, but I know a lot of people that are. I have been hearing a lot of buzz lately about the Brugo mug and it got me wondering if it may be just the right Christmas gift for a few people on my list. I was anxious to try it out.
I was very excited when my new mug arrived. Yay for purple! Don't worry though, if purple isn't your thing, they have 13 colors for you to choose from. Unfortunately, my new purple mug wasn't mine for long. The moment Sissy set her eyes on it, she claimed it as her own. Therefore, the trial run with my Brugo was done with a 2 year old. I guess that really puts the mug to the test.
We set out to make yummy hot chocolate for our mug. We headed to the kitchen to get everything ready. We heated the hot chocolate just as the package recommends, which is always too hot. It was the perfect temperature to try out the mug. I showed Sissy how to tip the mug to let the hot chocolate flow into the cooling area, we swirled it around and she anxiously took a drink. I was a little nervous as she took that first drink. To my relief, the Brugo mug worked perfectly. No scalded little mouths to tend to. Just a very happy little one enjoying her hot chocolate.
I have been very pleased with our Brugo and as the temperatures have cooled off, it has been used a lot. My least favorite feature is that it is just a bit heavy. However, that is minor in exchange for its convenience. My favorite feature is that it is LEAKPROOF. That means I have been able to throw it in my purse and carry it with me with no worries.
Here are all the things you want to know about the Brugo mug:
- The Brugo has three settings: lock, tip and cool, and sip. Lock will make your mug 100% leakproof. Use tip and cool to allow your drink to flow into the cooling chamber. Sip is for regular drinking of something already at the perfect temperature.
- Brugo has a patented technology to keep your beverage at the perfect temperature from start to finish. It keeps it in the "perfect temperature zone".
- Brugo was developed by a self-proclaimed coffee addict with a desire to create the perfect mug.
- With Brugo, there is no waiting to enjoy your coffee. Thanks to the perfect temperature zone you can enjoy your drink right away.
- Brugo comes in 13 stylish colors with stainless steel and chrome accents, has an ergonomic grip, a no-slip bottom and double wall insulation.
If you have a coffee lover on your Christmas list, I can recommend the Brugo mug as a gift solution. You might want to order two, because once it arrives, you are going to want to use it yourself. Plus, when you order two or more, they are only $14.95. Add the word LEAKPROOF at the end of your address when ordering to ensure you get the new leakproof mugs.
See the Brugo mug in action on You Tube!
Now the fun part, win a Brugo mug! Brugo has generously offered to give one lucky Deal Friends reader their own Brugo. Here's how you can win:
Mandatory Entry: Visit the Brugo mug site and let me know which color you would like if you were to win (Note: the winner will receive a randomly chosen mug from Brugo!).

Disney on Ice: Mickey and Minnie's Magical Journey Review
Both of my kids love Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. It is probably their favorite show. When I told my daughter we were going to see Mickey, she was so excited she couldn't sleep. The night before she kept getting out of bed and telling me it was time to put her Minnie costume on.
Finally, the big day arrived and she was able to get all dressed in her Minnie dress and ears. We got to the arena and she got a Mickey Mouse plush (that she has carried around ever since). That really got her excited. We took our seats, the lights went down and Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy came skating out. She literally squealed with delight and clapped for minutes. She was a bit concerned with Goofy's whereabouts, but he eventually joined the show. Mickey and the gang proceed to go on a vacation through the lands of The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Lilo and Stitch and Peter Pan.
Unfortunately, my little one didn't know any of the shows except for Peter Pan so she was really upset when the other characters took the ice. I thought the show was great. I loved watching the skaters acting out the scenes to go along with some of the biggest songs from the movies. I've only seen part of Lilo and Stitch but I loved that part of the show. They told the story well. The skater that plays the part of Lilo does a great job.
The Little Mermaid was the most visually exciting part of the show. They had all of the sea creatures in bright, sparkly costumes out on stage at the same time. There were seahorses, starfish, jelly fish and of course, mermaids. They even had Ursula on the ice.
Peter Pan was definitely our favorite part of the show. Sissy was hooked the moment that Wendy, Michael and John took flight. She was especially excited to see Tinkerbell skate onto the ice. As an added bonus she thought she was watching Tinkerbell and Cinderella (Wendy) skate together. They flew across the arena to Neverland where they met up with the lost boys and Captain Hook. A very large crocodile also makes an appearance. There were even a few fireworks during this part.
They only part that was a little slow was the Lion King. It wasn't because it wasn't good, but because there were no bright sparkly costumes and no theatrical effects. It was just skating and usually just a couple of characters. It was still good, just slower.
My family really enjoyed the whole show. We would definitely attend another Disney on Ice performance. Next time, I would probably do my homework and make sure the little ones knew all of the story lines and characters so they would be able to follow along better. (My kids are quite young.) That means Disney needs to release The Lion King again so that I can show it to them!
If Mickey and Minnie's Magical Journey stops near you, I would recommend taking your kids. There are still tickets available for Saturday and Sunday in SLC. Use coupon code VALUE and you can purchase tickets for as little as $10.
