DownEast Basics is having a Live For Pink sale. All of their pink tees and camis are on sale for only $5. Plus, half of the proceeds will be donated to the fight against breast cancer. I don't know anyone that doesn't love their basics line. This is the perfect time to get a couple of new layering pieces for winter while supporting a great cause. I picked one up already. Plus, while I was there I found ivory, red and brown shirts on clearance for $3. I bought those too! The sale runs through the end of October.

A New Trivial Pursuit Game - Trivial Pursuit Steal Giveaway!
I love playing Trivial Pursuit. It is probably my favorite game. I get so excited when I know an answer. Sadly, I seem to dominate in the Entertainment category. The others, not so much. We all seem to have the categories we are great at, as well as the ones we aren't so great at. For this reason, a Trivial Pursuit game can last a long time. Enter Trivial Pursuit Steal.
Trivial Pursuit Steal is Trivial Pursuit in a card game format. It has all of the trivia questions I love with an added twist. You can steal wedges from your opponent. So, if Science and Nature isn't your category, it doesn't matter. You can just steal it from someone else. There are steal cards and double steal cards. There is also a block card to prevent someone from stealing your wedge. Lastly, there is a wild wedge card. This allowed me to answer an Entertainment question but use the card as a Sports wedge. These are all minor changes to the game, but they speed it up a lot.
My husband and I have played this game quite a few times. A game usually takes us 15-25 minutes. Before, we were hesitant to begin Trivial Pursuit, because we didn't have enough time to spare. I like the changes to the game. I think the fast pace makes it more exciting. I also like getting that double steal card and watching everyone else trying to guard their cards.
The retail on this game is $6.99. It would be a great game to have on hand for the holidays.
I have 3 copies of Trivial Pursuit Steal to give away to Deal Friends readers. Here's how you can win:

KMart Toy Sale
I scored big on toys at KMart this weekend. They had an aisle of clearance toys that were 50% off the clearance price. I wanted to take a picture of all of it, but my husband put it away before the kids saw everything!
I picked up:
Trio airport
Trio police station
Nerf glow in the dark gun
Etch a Sketch
Tonka dump truck
Geo Trax Flo's Cafe
Geo Trax RC Lightning McQueen
Tonka Bounce Back Racer
Barbie puppies
3 3-packs of Trackmaster Thomas train cars
4 64 oz miracle bubbles
All this was $90. I also saw a Little Tikes School Bus Climber/Slide for $27, Shake and Go Speedway $26, many other Trio sets, Polly Pocket, My Little Pony, VTech VSmile games and systems, LeapFrog Tag systems $13-$15. So many things that I had a hard time leaving behind! I'm not sure how long this sale lasts so you may want to call ahead.
KMart has these toy sales a few times a year. Target also has a great toy clearance each January and July.

I Want to Share My Experience With Zhu Zhu Customer Service, It's Excellent.
I could write a long list of bad customer service experiences. Sadly, the good experience list would be much shorter. When I do receive excellent customer service, I make a point to support that company. I recently had to contact customer service for Zhu Zhu pets and encountered such excellent customer service I wanted to share.
My daughter has a couple of Zhu Zhu pets. She came to me crying recently because her Mr. Squiggles had lost its nose. She wanted me to fix it. I called customer service to see if they could get me a new nose. They checked for me, but that was not one of the pieces that they carried. They asked me for the number on our pet. I knew they were probably checking to see if it was recently manufactured. I sent them the number, but I also let them know it was old so I knew there was no warranty. They then emailed me back to say yes, ours was one of the originals but would we like a new one sent out to us. I couldn't believe it. A new Mr. Squiggles arrived about a week later.
These days it seems like it impossible to even get a live person to talk to. If you do get someone, getting help when an item isn't warrantied or you don't have a receipt is almost unheard of. Zhu Zhu Pets are definitely the exception. I hope that their company continues to have success. I will continue to support them after my experience.
