DownEast Launches Home Products Online and a Giveaway!

Spring decorations arrived at DownEast Home stores not too long ago and I have already found a few pieces that I love. I went shopping in anticipation of this giveaway and came home with a national brand Easter egg wreath and matching topiary for under $30. I am heading back this week for a couple of other decorations that I regretted not getting when I was there. They had cute bunnies that would look perfect on my fireplace and I loved some of their floral stems and vases. I hope none of you beat me to them!

By now, most of you know that I love shopping at DownEast, and who wouldn't love getting brand name products way below national prices? However, until recently, DownEast Home products were only available to those of us in the Utah-Idaho area. Notice, I said "until recently"? That's right, now everyone can enjoy select accessories from DownEast Home, online!

I really like these boxwood balls and these black wire bowls. I just need to figure out how to incorporate them into my home.

To celebrate the launch of the DownEast Home products online, DownEast is offering one reader a $25 gift card. This gift card can be used in store or online. DownEast has been sending out a number of discount codes through email lately, so it might be a good idea to sign up if you haven't already. Winner or not, you'll still want to know about their sales.

Here's how you can win a $25 DownEast gift card:

Kidtoons The Little Engine that Could Giveaway!

This month Kidtoons Theaters are featuring the movie The Little Engine that Could. This is a classic story that every little one should see. Kidtoons is giving one reader a hardcover copy of the book and a movie poster so that you can continue enjoying this classic after seeing it at the theater.

Here are the details on the movie:

The timeless story comes to life in this all-new, feature-length film filled with fun and adventure! When Little Engine (Alyson Stoner, Cheaper by the Dozen) must leave Dreamland to deliver toys into the real world, she sets her fears aside and learns that with a little determination and courage, anything is possible. Featuring an all-star cast, including Whoopi Goldberg (The View), Jamie Lee Curtis (Freaky Friday), Corbin Bleu (High School Musical) and Brenda Song (The Suite Life of Zack and Cody), this "fun family film" (Francine Brokaw, Los Angeles Family Magazine) is one you'll enjoy again and again.

CSN Stores $35 Giveaway!

I love Modern Design, just a few classic pieces and no clutter. My home does not reflect this at all, especially the no clutter part. I love the way simple pieces make such a statement. Since we're talking about making a statement, how cool is this Herman Miller Eames Lounge Chair. I love it. Just looking at it makes me feel more relaxed. Place it in a clean, quiet room and I'm pretty sure I'd be out for an afternoon nap. (Until someone told my kids where I was!) Some day, maybe my inner designer will be able to figure out a way to incorporate pieces like this into my house.

Currently, I may be able to work in a chair more like this Dutailier Intermezzo Glider. I love this Oeuf Toddler Bed as well.

These pieces are all found at the CSN Store AllModern.com. Just in case you aren't yet familiar with CSN stores, they have over 200 specialty stores where you can find just about anything. My experience with them has been nothing but positive. I have found nearly every item I have looked to buy online, at one of their stores, very competitively priced. If you haven't already, take a look around and I think you'll be surprised at what you find.

Ocean Saline Products Now For Kids - Review and Giveaway

Your little ones nose is very sensitive during the winter, especially if you live in a dry climate. Keeping their nose moist will help keep them comfortable and healthy. Ocean has made it easier with a new line of nasal saline developed just for kids. It is a non-medicated nasal saline spray that is designed for moisturizing dry nasal passages in newborns and children up to age 12. Ocean for Kids is safe for every day use and has a smaller nozzle. I am currently using this products on two sick kids. They haven't fought it at all and I have been pleased with it. They haven't complained of dry noses at all since using it.

Ocean has products to keep mom and dad healthy as well. Ocean Complete is my favorite. It is a 2-in-1 product that comes with separate tips. One tip allows you to use it as a fine saline mist, great for keeping nasal passages moist. The second allows you to use the product much like a Neti-Pot, but this comes pre-mixed. You can use it daily for sinus irrigation. My nose always feels dry, thanks to sinus and allergy problems. I have felt much better since using Ocean Complete. Doctors seem to be recommending these products more and more to me. (Ocean is the #1 recommended brand) It makes sense that when your nasal passages are dry, germs and allergens can freely pass through. I have been happy with these products and will continue to purchase them when the bottles I currently have are gone. Visit Ocean Nasal Care and you can sign up to receive a $3 off coupon.

Win 3 Full Size Ocean Products: Ocean for Kids, Ocean Complete and Ocean Premium! Here are the details:
